Friends Now “Accountable Item”

When I was in the service, there were certain things that had to be accounted for on every watch. If everything was present, the watch teams would specify in the duty log that all accountables were sighted.

I find I’m keeping closer tabs on the count of FB friends I have – because it’s the only way I’m going to be able to tell if more of my ex’s relatives “dump me” from their social networks.

Of course, such exclusion could be a good thing. After all, good taste mostly prevents me from saying jackassy things anyway, but the exclusion might prevent feelings from being hurt should I post anything about dating or life on my own or the like.

BUT I won’t unfriend them all and be done with it. Perhaps I should create a group for them and see if there are granular exclusions that may be made.
